Plot A[]
Clare's still dealing with a terrible break up with Jake. In fact, both of her ex-boyfriends have moved on into other relationships. Eli and Imogen are together. Jake is dating a girl named Veronica who attends a nearby prep school. How is Clare emotionally coping with all of this?
Plot B[]
Tristan, seeing how Tori's growing popularity is causing her to push him in the shadows, decides to make friends with a sophomore, Simon. Tristan starts to develop more than just a friendship with Simon, however, Simon doesn't think of Tristan as anything more than a friend.
Plot C[]
Katie is up to her old tricks again, meddling into Maya's relationship; Zig prompts Maya to stand up to Katie and when Maya decides to tell Katie to mind her own business, Katie takes things to the extreme.
